Cushion Cover - 100% Banarasi Silk - Yellow/Mustard - Mandala
Our cushion covers are sourced from a small family run business from Pushkar in India, this one is made from 100% Banarasi silk, it is predominantly Yellow/Mustard with some green, red & gold included as well, it has a Mandala design in the middle surrounded by a flowery design bordering it. The back of the cover is plain yellow/Mustard.
The dimensions of the cushion cover are 40cm x 40cm.
A mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Asian cultures. It can be understood in two different ways: externally as a visual representation of the universe or internally as a guide for several practices that take place in many Asian traditions, including meditation. In Hinduism and Buddhism, the belief is that by entering the mandala and proceeding towards its centre, you are guided through the cosmic process of transforming the universe from one of suffering into one of joy and happiness.
